Well everyone the time has come... this will be my last blog for awhile. I am off to endure an 18 month long journey into Brazil to teach the people about my Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I cannot wait.. literally. Its been a long process that I am ready to embark upon. Yes to answer your question I AM nervous and yes I AM excited. Although I will miss my family, my friends, and my life, I know that this is what I want to do. I have so much to say but dont know how. so right about now i am running out of time and my blogging days are coming to an end for now anyways. so i decided i would do a long post of just the random last min stuff i have been doing the past two weeks i have been postponed....

So i was able to take brenan and one of his good friends named steven to six flags

for the very first time. He loved it besides the major fire we had to endure on the way up.

We messed around and had a good time especially when you look like a tourist.. aka brought the fanny.

I was fortunate enough to attend the LA temple with my other half Ashley and

her wonderful husband mike before they left to go up to utah. I loved the LA temple

if you havent gone and can go...GO it is beautiful. thanks ash for taking me i will never forget our

My sisters and I wanted to do a girls night out before I left. I chose bjs for dinner cause I was craving some poozkies! It was really fun to have both my sisters together without husbands or babies (a rare combo) to a nice dinner. We are always so silly when were together, although we wanted to do something more extravagant for our night out, this was perfect enough. I will miss them so much and appreciate their love and support. Basically best SISTERS EVER! LOVE YOU MANDY AND AMBER!

she is going to Florida on her mission. She was vacationing with her family for the whole

summer. Her dad is the head coach. Andy Reid, for the Philadelphia Eagles. I got to meet

Sometimes I forgot that going on a mission = you get to go to the temple! and I love it. needless

to say I was a little nervous but mostly excited to finally get to see and enjoy the blessings that

come from going through the temple. I went on July 15 in Newport beach, with all those that I

really cared about. I was so grateful to see my family and good friends there to go through this

experience with me, it is one I will never forget.

Well I have been slacking on my blogging lately for a few reasons.. my life is CRAZY! This past month has been non stop. As most of you know and incase you dont I have been called to serve in Brazil on an LDS mission for a period of 18 months and couldnt be more excited. I was able to give two farewell talks, one in my old home ward in irvine and one in my new home ward in Newport. I was fortunate enough to have an open house a couple weeks ago hosted by one of my families old time freinds, the Calls. They are so sweet and kind to open up their house for me. It was so nice to see everyone and say my goodbyes. I am so grateful to have the people that I love in my life and thier support is more than I could ever want or need! These are just a few pictures of the event.

sugar house park was crazy!!!

This years fourth was so much fun! I felt like I celebrated it about four times because it fell on a sunday this year. Saturday I was in sugar house park in utah and was able to ride my bike around with one of my best friends steph and meet up with a huge group of friends to watch an exactly 27 min firework show. afterwards we celebrated more at the bradys house. Sunday I arrived back in my home town and went to balboa island to have dinner and watch more fireworks on the beach. On monday.. another day off for the fourth.. I went to my cousins house to celebrate by eating tons of bbq following with a game of watermelon football and ending the night with some hilarious games of mafia. Needless to say this fourth was one of the bests.

I loved visiting utah one last time before i leave! it was bitter sweet to see all my wonderful friends and know that i had to say goodbye for 18 months! I loved layingout at stephs and chloees pools, last min sev runs, boating trip, brookes wedding, fireworks for the fourth and just having fun with my bests, priceless week! i will miss it.

I am trying to sell my 2001 VW Passat! Its silver with leather interior. Im selling it for around 6000 and it has about 115000 miles on it. My dad had installed a new timing belt and water pump last summer. This model of VW also has an audi engine. This DG formal was so much fun! not to mention my last one of three years. It was wierd saying goodbye to DG formals..dancing, eating!, being with friends, anchorman competition, speaking of anchorman comp this year my date was a runner up and so was my roommate dylan that one of my good friends steph took. neither of them won but they def should have!! Austin was so much fun and was such a great date. The girls incharge of the formal decided to mess with me because it was my last formal and made austin "fill my canteen" i wont get into details but it was fun and lets just it was one of the most fun formals to date.

basically the best spring break ever took place on the carnival splendor march 2010 with 20 of my best friends.. we traveled down to Mazatlan, Peurto Vallarta and cabo before arriving back at the port of long beach. the trip consisted of a room with the tickles, prank calling room service, playing in the casino, dancing, anytime soft serve ice cream, sun soaking, sun sets, playing cards, eating! DC, napkin dancing, SBI, serenity deck and traveling the beautiful beaches of Mexico, what could be better then that.

my life for the past four months has been an adventure.. anything and everything my friends and i would do aka the 25 mile bike tour of salt lake city prior to the the slc marathon..sign me up i dont have a bike or any gear but well make it work! and was i glad i did it! it was so much fun and not to mention random considering i dont bike! i wish i did... lauren, steph, abby and I were the four who stuck together through the many practice runs or maybe just one 10 mile bike ride the day before.. we were really prepared. It wasnt as bad as we thought. Abby and steph had legit road bikes while me and lauren struggled with our hybrids that i had to borrow from my wonderful friend pat. we woke up at 430 am and headed on down to the trax by 5! i had zero sleep and for some reason was so hypes! it must of been the Adrenalin as we got prepared to depart we pretended to stretch and act like real bikers in front of the people that actually trained for this event. once we started not even a mile into the race..lauren of course lauren gets her pants stuck in her wheel.. possibly the funniest moment of my life.. we went on cheering BT 010 the entire way singing and laughing in front of high schools "go rams" in front of highland and ' olay olay olay olaaaaaayyyyy" infront of olympus. we finished in exactly 1 hour and 44 min and 52 sec dont worry that the limit was an hour and 45 we finished with 8 secs to spare. The people incharge said they would escort you to a different route if we were not finished by the time set.. we saw the balloons and the beautiful purple medals wating for us only a couple yards ahead. I felt so accomplished it was a great experience def recommend. if i can do it so can you! i sat down in exhaustion and when steph asked if i wanted to go get a banana with her i tried to stand up and almost completely fell. i couldnt feel my legs and she basically had to carry me to the food area to get energy... BT 010 never will forget it, but maybe never will do it again. so many legit bikers!

Sorry that it has taken me forever to start blogging. This past semester has been full of ups, downs, adventures, hard times, laughs and crys... i dont even know where to begin blogging about.

but i guess ill start with some events that happened in the past two months! every year the Greek system gets to take underprivileged kids to the zoo up by the U. This year I wanted to stake out the cutest kid. My friend, Chloee and I spotted him.. he had a mo hawk with curly brownish hair with a plaid shirt on. We waited until all the kids got off the bus and nothing! we lost him... we went around screaming someone stole our child which was probably not a good idea considering we were supposed to be in charge of all the little ones.. we finally gave up and took one of Abbys kids and they were so cute! they were hilarious together and little Danny had the best little punk attitude i could have wanted. He went around singing songs and kicking fences he was a handful but kept us laughing. chloee and i spotted our child with another girl further into the zoo although we envied her we were satisfied with our little Danny.. it was hard to say goodbye to the chilren but it was an all an all good zoo day!

well where do i begin to explain my favorite cousin? welp i guess it starts when we were babies.. we never were seperated. ashley dipped her sandwich in the sand at the beach, i dipped my sandwich in the sand at the beach. i would start to tell a sentence and ash would finish it. words cant describe how much she means to me. we have grown up together and she has been like a sister to me. our whole life we knew that ash would get married first even though she pretended to deny it, deep down she knew it was true ha i pretty much predicted her whole life and she will tell you that ha i am so happy she found the man of her dreams and that i was able to be a part of her wonderful wedding. i was honored when she asked me to be her maid of honor it was as if our little girl dreams were becoming reality. although i will miss her while she is in her little married life she will always be my ash my other half.. love you girl!

back in the day of good old highschool aka my glory days... i loved basketball, i loved my team and i loved playing in intense games. some people would call me a baller. i guess. ha but seriously there is no better feeling then drilling a three infront of your opponent. i have missed it alot and lately i have been able to play ward ball every tues with my entire stake. it has been so much fun and i have been sooo out of shape! its helping me bring it back to the days when i used to be good. tonight at the game we were down by three with 1.5 seconds left they chose me to drill the three and guess what i FAILED aha it hit the rim and everyone in the audience was screaming cause we all thought it was going in. well didnt make it happen this week ha maybe next.

our first weekender of the semester was VEGAS. it was so much fun! Lauren, Abby, Kydel and I went to celebrate abbys 21 along with sessions 22 at no where else but the city of sin. nights dancing away at the pure and the bank, stearing clear of creepers, trying to find tay on the reg, eating .25 cent buffalo wings at 5 am, craming 10people in a ghetto room and walking up to a mystery delivery from a loving mother. one of the best trips i have had in a long time... let the weekenders begin!

A couple weeks ago Lauren and I decided to make a pact and try to watch a movie everyday we have never seen. I realize this is a huge goal but I'm up for the challenge. It could be anything from classics to movies in the 80s to whatever anyone recommends. So far I have watched about 8 movies and can I just say that I am really behind on movies. Where have I been? Our first movie was 500 days of summer and I loved it! Ill keep you posted I'm excited about this challenge because what else am I going to do in Utah's cold winter this next semester. Thanksgiving this year was a little different. It makes you think that you really need to live in the moment and to not take anything for granted. live life to its fullest, isnt that what they say. sometimes i forget that. why do we always need to be reminded to do good, live right, and take everything in while you can. i try to live this way but its harder then you think..why? why do we make it so hard? i hope one day i can accomplish this way of life and not look back on the decisions i've made and say WHAT IF?

This lake powell trip was so fun! Me and about 20 of my friends took off at 11 at night on a friday and took a drive down to good old powell for the weekend with one of my best friends emmys family. I def fell asleep on the ride but we got there around 4 am. Some people decided to go wakeboarding right away but there was no way I could stay up. The next day I learned to wake surf its my new fav thing. It was so fun me and emmy want to do double. We got up right away, this picture is when I jumped off the wake board but the pic got me mid air so it looks like im running so legit! by far one of the best trips

A couple weeks ago Greek Row went to the Hogle Zoo and watched 2 or 3 kids as we went around the zoo looking at animals and playing around. I had 2 little girls they were so cute and I was sad to see them leave when the day was over... I loved playing with them and i hope we do it again sooon

Pretty much I got to go on a Helicopter for free!!! seriously so legit... I took this class called tourism management for fun with some Friends we heard it was an easy A and the teacher at the end of the semester takes you on a tour of the city for free. Our class decided we wanted to go on a helicopter... his private jet would have taken too long.

We went up past the mountains and close to park city. It was about a 10 min ride but so worth it.

Also on our tour we went to a grave site to visit old witch sites, a brewery and for our last stop Spoon Me. That sucked cause I work there but other then that....This class is prob the best/easiest/most legitest class I have and will ever take in my college career

A couple weeks ago I went to the festival of colors with some friends and it was so fun! I think its a Hindu celebration of the colors of spring about to come so they celebrate by gathering together in pure craziness. They had a band and all we kept saying was "Harne Krishna" Seriously so fun... by the time we got there the colored flour was gone but managed to get some from people. I was tempted to crowd surf but it slipped my mind when a girl got dropped ha I suggest this to anyone you will definitely see me there next year!

A couple weeks ago Lauren and I joined Kassie on her first Wedding Expo. It was in Thanksgiving point and it was so cool! Everything you could imagine or want at your wedding was at your fingertips. There was free food samples and prizes and I was loving every min and I wasnt even the bride ha. It did make me feel stressed for some reason.. there were too many brides in one room but the best part of the day was when I won her a free engagement session with the best photographer there. Kassies fiance wasnt sure what that was but was excited none the less.. I cant believe that one of my best Friends is getting married it was definitely an eye opener and made me realize Im far from getting married anytime sooon.... Dad dont worry

This Spring Break was so fun! The first part of the week I went to Scottsdale AZ with 12 other girls cause my friend has a house out there. We all wanted to go somewhere cheap and warm. We went to the spring training angels game, played by the pool and went out on the town.. This past semester I decided I wanted to take a snowboard class to try out my new board that blake got me for christmas. I signed up for a class at the U taught by fellow students worth 2 credits I thought it was perfect to get credit for school while riding the mountain only one problem, I had to make a freind in the first meeting cause i stilllll dont have a car to meet up in park city where the class was. Dont worry I made a freind with this girl who lived up at the dorms so it was perfect. The first few times I went up I hated it! I was always soar and I couldnt figure out if I was goofy or regular. But the best part was my group. I rode with a 50 year old mom of 5 children and my instructor was my age. After a few weeks I started to get the hang of it and couldnt get enough. I also started riding up with my instructor because he also lived in the dorms. We just finished the class last week and Im going to be soo sad when wed days roll around and im not going to be in PC... Im still not the best but I can get down pretty well on crescent and payday. Im going to try to go as much as I can before the season is over. I love it!! it makes feel like im somewhat wakeboarding again well the closest thing to it.

This past weekend my friend Chloee and I were able to hit up the legendary Vanilla Ice and MC Hammer Concert! Our work Spoon Me was one of the sponosors so they were able to hook us up with free tickets... It was so much fun! I thought that they were doing a tour but it was a final last show for both of them and im glad I was there to witness it. We left SLC around 8 and got there around 9 our boss had to sneak us backstage cause he forgot our wristbands soo legit but I was able to scheme us some from the security guard. We got there and the openers were on it was a band called Love You Long Time I actually really liked them. Then it was Vanilla Ices turn, he got up and I guess he decided to go all rockish on us so we didnt get the famous Ice Ice Baby we were all hoping for but it was still amazing. Then it was HAMMMER TIMEE. I felt like I went back in time and turned on soul train it was hilarious but soo freaking cool. It was too legit too legit to quit. My fav song of his. He had back up dancers and his son was one of them. I secretly wanted to be his backup dancers they were soo good but random ha. Close to the end we got really close to the stage and tried to get on for the last song. Vanilla Ice came out and celebrated "Cant Touch This" for the very last time on stage. It was epic I loved every minute of it. After the show we decided to dance with some creepers with really big hammer pants on ha O and my little baby nephew Dane was born during this whole thing! That was a nice surprise when I got home.

Bully Beat Down!

This Past weekend we got asked to participate in a new series of shows on MTV called Bully Beat Down. They filmed the show in a wear house somewhere in West Valley. They offered to pay us 10 dollars a person to Delta Gamma if we went so a bunch of us wanted to check it out. Pretty much hilarious and the most random thing we have ever been apart of. Its a show that will air in about a month and its all about geeks and thier bullys back in the day. They ask the bullys to get into a ring with an actual marshal arts fighter to see if they can take it. Most of the Bullys got beat up but it was really entertaining. They filmed us in the audience yelling and booing and made people move so we could be on camera the most. I loved it!! It toook all day to film but we should all be in at least 2 episodes.. soo keep your eyes out for this show I hope to airs! They gave us foood

Dave and I went to the jazz game again this time we were playing the LAKERSSS. So I decided to get dressed up for the occasion. I wore a yellow shirt and a bright purple sweatshirt. Surprisingly there were alot of Laker fans in the stadium but none near me. I got yelled at a few times but it was totally worth it!!! Besides the fact we lost! seriously couldnt believe it. We had 3 chances to come back and win but none of our baskets fell... Its ok I will be a Laker fan for life. Sorry Jazzzzzzzzzzzzz

This past wed I went snowboarding as usual to my weekly wed class up in Park City. My instructor decided that we were ready to hit one of the bigger mountains... ya definetly struggled but made it down proudly. It was a super hot day so I unzipped my jacket. So at the bottom of the mountain I had to call my ride but when I reached into my pocket my Phone was missing!! I thought my instructor took it as a joke at first but it was really gone.. I instantly got really bummed cause I had legit pics and things I wanted to keep on it. Not knowing what to do or who to call cause I had no ones numbers memorized I called mom in a panic of course and got the number to the resort right away. They told me to keep calling until something showed up. The whole ride back to Salt Lake I called my Phone praying for someone to answer. Right before I got home I decided to call it one more time and some old lady picked up the phone! In shock I screamed YOU FOUND IT. I wasnt surprised it was still working, I have had my phone since high school it has survived everything. It happened to be the lady at the lost and found lodge she said I could come and get it whenever.. One problem I dont have a car. I knew I could get it the following day because I have freinds that ski up there all the time. I was soooo Happy. Well its Friday night and I still dont have a phone. Its driving me crazy but at the same time sort of nice. I hope I can get it by tomorrow if not ill have to wait till wed when I go back up there. Sorry if you have tried to contact me. Trust I want it back!

Every Monday, my Sorority holds meeting. Sometimes we get guests to come and speak to us and sometimes we get random surprises. One of my sisters in DG, has a brother who is on the MTV show called the Real World. So she decided to get her brother to get one of his roommates to come sing to us in the middle of our meeting. Everyone was so surprised and he was so cute, becuase he got so shy... The girls that live in the house with me werent surprised because the night before he came and hung out with us. They filmed in Brooklyn and every wed night we all gather around the TV to watch the episodes.

So, If anyone ever claims to know me, they know that my number 1 thing to do on Thursdays is go 80s! Ever since I moved up to Salt Lake I fell in love with it. I try to go every week unless I have a test or homework, but even then that doesn't always stop me. I love dressing in the bright colors and dancing all night. My Brother, Blake and my sister Amanda used to go all the time before they left. I kind of took over the Corbin Legacy at Area 51. The Security Guard lets me get in with out paying sometimes cause I go so much... Here's a few pics of my 80s nights.
